You may notice that Matrē products have a shorter shelf life than some conventional supplements.

That's intentional.

DEEP SLEEP: The current guidance recommends consulting your physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with particular caution around introducing new supplements during the first trimester.

CORE: Yes, Core was designed to work fabulously as a pre-natal, containing activated B6 to curb pregnancy related nausea, and in a tummy friendly once a day dose unlike many prenatals out there. It intentionally does not contain iron that interferes with the absorption of the other minerals, however do check your iron levels and take your iron supplements separately and away from Core for best absorption.

CALM: The current guidance recommends 1 capsule daily for children aged 1–9 and 2 capsules daily for those over 9. Capsule contents can be dissolved into a citrus drink for a calming electrolyte night cap.

DEEP SLEEP: The individual ingredients have been used across age groups, but research data is limited for children under 3. Apply discretion or seek your physician's advice for this population.

CORE: The current product guidance recommends 1 capsule in the morning with food for adults and children aged 12+.

The current CALM FAQ states that the maximum recommended daily dose of elemental magnesium from food and supplements is 420mg for males and 350mg for females, while noting that requirements can vary based on factors such as age and health conditions.

Two CALM capsules provide 200mg of elemental magnesium, and is designed to supplement a balanced diet.

The current guidance notes that only around 1% of total body magnesium is present in blood serum, meaning serum levels may not accurately reflect magnesium stores in tissues such as muscles and bones.

For this reason, a normal serum magnesium result does not necessarily rule out magnesium depletion.

We small-batch craft our formulas from scratch, not from ready made formulas that we slap a label on.
